Special Equipment Needed During Camp

Special equipment needed during camp:

(Please borrow or buy second hand!  Contact the camp director if you need help with these items!

Each girl will need to bring:

 A life jacket

A tube for floating the river

Grubby shoes or water shoes for the river

A camping chair

Roasting sticks

A mess kit similar to this one ($11)at Walmart including bowl, plate, cup, knife fork and spoon. 

Camp Sweatshirt Color Revealed!

The votes are in!  

When the votes were tallied at our get-to-know-you activity, neon pink was the initial winner.... 

.....until we found out that not everyone had gotten a chance to vote.

We wanted to include everyone's opinion....

So we added in the new votes and our

Dark Gray!!!!

They are going to look so great!

May Pre- Camp Bonfire Activity

  Fire certification includes safety, how to start a fire, how to put it out, and of course yummy treats!

2nd and Final Camp Deposit

2nd and Final Camp Deposit of $25 is due May 1st.  

This will cover Camp Lomondi costs, activities and food.  

Checks need to be written to:

South Weber 1st Ward

Deposit in a tithing envelope, with GIRLS CAMP written in the OTHER section.  

If you are not able to obtain a deposit slip, contact Molly Collings, Camp Director or your Young Women's leader.  

Don't forget!  If you helped babysit at last December's fundraiser, you may subtract $10 from the amount owed.

Sweatshirt Ordering Time!!!!

We are so excited to go to camp with you!

Please sign up for a sweatshirt during Young Women's along with your information

and vote for the color that will help you channel your “inner Alice”! 

We will order the color that gets the most votes. 

A $25 deposit is due by March 1^st to order your sweatshirt. 

You can pay on your online lds.org account, 

or by filling out a tithing slip and writing “Girls Camp Sweatshirt” in the “Other” section. 

Slips may be turned in to a Young Women’s Leader, a member of the bishopric, or the Camp Directors: Sister Collings and Sister Dickson.
